In yet another tantrum, because Congress didn’t give him all the money he wanted for an ineffective, harmful and costly border wall, President Trump is deploying over 7000 National Guard and active military troops to the southern border region. Our communities are not a war zone. We already live under the militarized boot of Border Patrol and ICE. We need policies that revitalize our communities, not militarize them.
