Requiring border agents to wear body-worn cameras is an important step to restore the trust broken by years of abuses by border agents who are rarely -- if ever -- held accountable for their actions. This bill is a move to hold ICE and CBP to policing best practices, and are part of a national trend to deploy body-worn cameras, with appropriate privacy policies, to address law enforcement abuse and impunity.
