Trump has created a manufactured crisis in the southern border to justify his deadly, harmful and wasteful wall. Recently, it closed the San Ysidro Port of Entry as border agents fired tear gas and rubber bullets at men, women and children seeking asylum at the busiest border crossing in the world.
Fortunately, there are many organizations on both sides of the border --including members of the Southern Border Communities Coalition-- who are on the ground helping many of these refugee families with shelter, food, warm showers and assistance to get to their destination cities.
